Where are our Alumni located?
Our initial approach to reconnecting with each other is to first determine where we are. Our alumni are located all over the world and we believe that a global approach to engaging our network is critical to the success of the Foundation and by extension, Cornwall College.
More than half of our alumni resides in Jamaica. Another 30% are located in the USA with significant concentrations in the Northeast (New York and Mid-Atlantic) and Florida. Canada accounts for another 7%. All others can be accounted for in the UK, Asia, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Due to geographical considerations and other factors, many of our alumni are disconnected from each other and from the school. Many of our alumni have never visited the campus since graduating from the school. Further, many may have tried in the past to connect with the school with limited success.

The Foundation is in process of working closely with our Associations to enhance our capabilities in terms of how we engage and keep our alumni connected. Leveraging the internet and other technological tools as well as natural peer to peer connections, we hope to grow our alumni engagement rates ten-fold.
While most of our engagement and outreach efforts may be targeted in high population centers, we believe no stone should be left un-turned. We will utilize technology, extensive marketing campaigns, social media, and natural peer group connections in identifying and assisting our efforts to reconnect us with each other and with the school.
