■ Evaluate purpose and historical approaches to providing assistance to the school
■ Define Vision and Mission ■ Re-engage key stakeholders ■ Craft strategic plans for the Foundation ■ Form implementation teams that are focused on the Mission and stated objectives of the Foundation and the school; develop key performance indicators |
■ Define operating and governance structures to ensure success & long-term viability of the Foundation
■ Evaluate current make-up of leadership team in meeting stated Mission and objectives ■ Donation work-flow and non-profit considerations ■ Legal entity setup, banking and investments considerations |
■ Leverage technology to engage stakeholders and grow alumni network (FB, Web, WhatsApp, natural peer groups, Alumni Associations, etc.)
■ Develop appropriate marketing and communications strategy ■ Develop fundraising capabilities and campaigns including the use of high-tech and high touch approaches |
■ Employ appropriate strategies to fundraise, grow an Endowment Fund, manage & leverage the Fund as appropriate
■ Utilize the web, social media and other platforms to connect our alumni with each other and with the school |
■ Based on ongoing assessments of the school’s needs, develop appropriate projects that the Foundation can deliver on working in collaboration with key stakeholders
■ Survey key stakeholders to solicit their opinions on projects to be considered |
