Leadership Team
The Board of Directors (BOD) is the elected board of the Cornwall College Foundation (CCF) that is responsible for governing and managing the affairs and setting the strategic direction of the CCF. The BOD is charged with establishing and reviewing policies and governing procedures regarding all the Foundation business as well as serving as a channel for alumni engagement and feedback.
The Leadership team brings a wealth of experience to the management of the affairs of the Foundation. The team possess a variety of skills in the areas of Finance, Engineering, Law, Government, Real Estate Development and Management, Corporate Governance and Risk Management, Technology, and Medicine. Our team works on a collaborative basis in fulfilling the Vision and Mission of the Foundation by leveraging their collective disciplines.

About the Board
The Board of Directors is the leadership body of the Cornwall College Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. Directors are elected by a vote of all verified CC alumni in attendance at an Annual General Meeting. There are ten (10) directors on the Board which meets quarterly: The board comprises four officers; Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary. The current chairman is Dr David McBean. Directors The officers on the board are Dr David McBean (Chairman), Egbert Clarke (Vice Chairman), Chris Earl (Treasurer), Wendel Clarke (Secretary) The other six directors are; Charles Barnett, Barrington Harvey, Richard McInnis, Richard Meggo, Steve Petgrave and Ronnie Sutherland

Meet Chairman - Dr David McBean
Dr David McBean is the Executive Director of the Mona School of Business and Management, (MSBM). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering from The University of the West Indies, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford, on a Rhodes Scholarship. He has also received extensive short course training in management, including a diploma in Advanced Executive Management from the Kellog Business School/Mona Institute of Business.
He joined the staff of The UWI, Mona after over 20 years’ experience as a senior executive, serving across the Airline, Telecommunications (Commercial & Regulatory), IT and Media industries in the Caribbean. Past senior appointments include, Managing Director for the Spectrum Management Authority of Jamaica, Managing Director of Products & Services for LIME Caribbean, CEO of the CVM Media Group in Jamaica as well as VP IT for the former Air Jamaica.
In addition to his substantive career in the private sector, Dr McBean has been involved with the UWI Mona since 1993 where he served as a Part-time lecturer in the Department of Natural Sciences until 1995. He then moved on to a similar position in the Department of Management Studies and Natural Sciences in 1996.
Dr. McBean has served on several boards of private and public sector companies, as well as charitable organisations. Past board appointments include the Jamaica Tourist Board, e-Learning Jamaica, Nutrition Products Limited, Lascelles de Mercado and Supreme Ventures.
. He is currently the Executive Director of the Mona School of Business & Management, UWI Mona.
